The home-grown two-wheeler maker has rolled out the Hero Xtreme Stealth Edition 2.0 at Rs 1,29,738 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model has been priced around Rs 7,000 premium than the old Stealth Edition and Rs 9,000 premium than the Xtreme 160R dual disc variant. It will continue to take on the Bajaj Pulsar N160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZ-FI and Suzuki Gixxer.
The model comes in Black and Red paint scheme with dark finish on body panels, engine head, forks tubes, grab rail and pillion footrest. The contrast red paint graphics and red finish on the rim stickers further enhance its sporty appearance. The bike also has a bigger belly pan than before and knuckle guards.
The Hero Xtreme Stealth Edition 2.0 has been packed with the ‘Hero Connect’ feature for the smartphone connectivity. It offers features such as tow away alert, geo fence alert, topple alert and speed alert.
Similar to the previous model, the new Hero Xtreme Stealth Edition 2.0 uses the 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The motor pushes out a peak power of 15.2PS and 14Nm of torque. The bike derives its braking power from a 276mm petal disc and a 220mm disc brake fitted at the front and rear axles respectively. It gets single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard. The new Xtreme Stealth Edition 2.0 runs on the 100/80-17 front and 130/70-R17 rear tyres. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres and it carries a kerb weight of 139.5kg.
In fresh updates, Hero MotoCorp is ready to unveil its first electric scooter on 7th October, 2022. The model will come under the company’s Vida sub-brand that will serve Hero’s emerging mobility solutions. The Hero Vida electric scooter is estimated to be priced around Rs 1 lakh or less.
