Hero XF3R Naked Performance Bike Is Coming Soon To India

Hero XF3R will compete with KTM Duke 250, TVS Apache RR 310 and Bajaj Dominar 400.

The Hero Xpulse 200 adventure bike will be the next big launch from the home-grown two-wheeler maker in India. Besides this, the company will soon introduce the production-ready version of the Hero XF3R concept that broke cover at the 2016 Auto Expo. It will be Hero’s new flagship 300cc performance naked bike that will take on the Bajaj Dominar 400, TVS Apache RR 310, KTM Duke 250 and Benelli TNT 300.

At the heart of the Hero XF3R will be a 300cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with twin-overhead camshafts and fuel injection technology. This motor will deliver power close to 30bhp and torque around 30Nm. For transmission purpose, the naked performance bike will get a 6-speed gearbox.

Hero’s new flagship 300cc bike will be designed on a steel trellis frame, and make use of USD telescopic forks and a single-sided monoshock and swingarm suspension for performing damping duties. Most of the design bits are likely to be carried over from the concept. Though, the headlamp might get LED elements and front fender could be revised. Other key features might include a fully digital instrument cluster with White backlight, LED taillamps, mesh-type alloy wheels, split seat, a single piece handlebar and dual exhaust.
