Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Splendor Plus and Passion Pro 100 Million Editions in the country. The special models commemorate the brand’s achievement of marking 100 million production milestone. The Hero Splendor Plus 100 Million edition has been offered in a single variant priced at Rs 67,095. The Hero Passion Pro 100 Million edition comes in Disc and Drum variants, priced at Rs 69,200 and Rs 71,400 respectively. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The Hero Splendor Plus 100 Million and Hero Passion Pro 100 million editions have red fuel tank extensions with white graphics. The front fender, headlamp mask and side panels have also been painted in red shade. The black treatment on the engine case and other parts further enhance their special looks.
No changes have been made to their engines. The Hero Splendor Plus 100 million edition uses the same 97.2cc, air-cooled engine that’s good for 7.9bhp and 8.05Nm. The Hero Passion Pro 100 million edition comes equipped with the 113cc, air-cooled engine delivering power worth 9bhp and 9.89Nm of torque. Both are fuel injected motors benefited with i3S start/stop and self-start system. Transmission duties are done by a 4-speed gearbox. The braking system of the Splendor Plus includes 130mm front and rear drum brakes. It has been assembled with 18-inch black alloys and 80/100-18 tubeless tyres. Similar to the regular model, the special comes fitted with telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers at the front and rear axle respectively.
Just so you know, the bikemaker rolled out the updated BS6 Hero Passion Pro early last year. The bike witnessed a few noticeable cosmetic upgrades along with a set of new features and BS6-compliant engine. The new model is claimed to offer 5% more fuel efficiency than old model. The bike is available in four colour options – Yellow, Black, Grey and Red.
