Aiming to tap the growing 125cc scooter segment, Hero MotoCorp will come up two new products – Maestro Edge 125 and the Duet 125. Both the vehicles recently made their official debut at the Auto Expo 2018. While the new Hero Maestro Edge 125 with sporty styling will appeal young buyers, the Duet 125 will target mass audience. Engine mechanism of both the scooters is same – i.e. 125cc, single-cylinder engine with i3S technology. Hero Maestro Edge 125 Launch Date

The 125cc version of the Maestro Edge was recently showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. Hero Maestro Edge 125 Price in India

The existing 110cc model of the scooter comes in the range of Rs 49,700 – Rs 51,150 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new 125cc Maestro Edge will be positioned against the Honda Grazia and Honda Activa. Models such as the recently-launched TVS NTorq and Aprilia SR 125 will also impact its sales. Hero Maestro Edge 125 Specifications

At the heart of the scooter is a 125cc, single-Energy cylinder Boost engine that delivers a claimed power of 8.7bhp at 6,750rpm and 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm. This powertrain is benefited with i3S (idle-start-stop) technology that aids to its performance and fuel efficiency. Hero Maestro Edge 125 Design & Features

Design of the scooter shares strong resemblance to the 110cc Maestro Edge. Though, it has sharper front and rear styling. Features on-board include an LED taillight, digital analogue instrumentation, external fuel filing, service indicators and a side stand. It also gets an optional front disc brake.
