Priced at Rs 46,630 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Hero HF Deluxe i3S receives a few new features over the regular model.

After the Splendor, Glamour and Passion Pro, Hero MotoCorp has now introduced the ‘Idle Start Stop System’ or i3S technology on the HF Deluxe commuter. Priced at Rs 46,630 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2017 Hero HF Deluxe i3S receives a few new features over the regular model.  The standard HF Deluxe range comes in five variants – Kick-start and Self-start drum brake with alloy and spoke wheels – ranging from Rs 43,730 to Rs 46,130 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hero HF Deluxe-i3S specifications

Powering the bike is the same 97.2cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder air-cooled OHC engine making 8.24bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. This BSIV compliant motor comes paired to a 4-speed manual gearbox. As far as mileage is concerned, the company hasn’t revealed its mileage figures. Though, the Hero HF Deluxe i3S will be as frugal as the regular model.

With a claimed fuel efficiency of 88.5kmpl, the standard HF Deluxe is counted among India’s most fuel efficient motorcycles. The i3S technology has a battery operated sensors that detects the idleness of the engine and shuts it off when clutch is pressed. When you pull in the clutch it turns on the motor again. Hero HF Deluxe-i3S mileage

As mentioned above, the Hero HF Deluxe i3S features new body graphics along with AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) feature and power start. The bike is being offered in three dual tone shades – Black-Blue, Black-Red and Black-Purple. Dimensions of the motorbike remain unchanged. The HF Deluxe i3S sits on the 1,235mm tubular double cradle chassis and stands on 165mm of ground clearance. Carrying a kerb weight of 107kg (Kick)/110kg (Self), the bike offers a fuel tank capacity of 9.5-litres. Damping duties on the vehicle are carried out by front telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers and rear swing arm with two step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers. Braking system of the bike consists of 130mm disc and 110mm drum front internal expanding shore type brakes.
