Hero Desitini 125 Launched; Priced Less Than Rs 55,000
The Hero Destini 125 scooter is priced at Rs 54,650 (LX) and Rs 57,500 (VX).
Hero MotoCorp has finally rolled out its first 125cc automatic scooter – the Hero Destini 125. The scooter comes in two variants – LX and VX – priced at Rs 54,650 and Rs 57,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. Deliveries of the vehicle will be commenced in coming weeks. The Destini 125 takes head-to-head against the Honda Grazia/Activa 125, TVS NTorq and Suzuki Access 125.
Power source for the Hero Destini 125 is a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine pushing out a maximum power of 8.7bhp at 6750rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5000rpm. This motor is the bored out version of the Duet’s 110cc powertrain. Read – New Hero XF3R 300cc Bike To Challenge Bajaj Dominar
The air-cooled motor has been calibrated for delivering better low-end power for higher urban usability. Hero’s new 125cc scooter is benefited with the company’s i3S system (idle-start-stop). This system enhances overall fuel efficiency of the vehicle. Read – Hero Xtreme 200R Price & Details

Design and styling of the Hero Destini 125 looks similar to the Hero Duet 110cc. Though, it gets minor changes such as chrome granishes, dual tone seat covers, cast wheels, boot light and mobile charging point. The aforementioned features are reserved for the VX trim.
Other highlights include Integrated braking system (IBS), service reminder, external fuel filling, pass switch, side stand indicator and an optional front disc brake. The Hero Destini 125 was first previewed in its concept avatar as Duet 125 at the 2018 Auto Expo. The scooter has been entirely designed and developed at the company’s Jaipur based R&D centre.
