Hero MotoCorp is gearing up for the launch of several new motorcycles and scooters in the country. The company showcased its new range of motorcycles and two-wheelers in early 2014, and the homegrown maker is now ready to launch its upcoming range in the market. Hero has started testing its upcoming scooter the Dash 110 in the country. The new Scooter will target male buyers and will rival against the likes of Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter and Yamaha Alpha.
The Hero Dash 110 will be a premium offering and has sporty exterior with aggressive creases. It is powered by an 110cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power output of 8.44bhp and a peak torque of 9.4Nm. The Dash scooter features telescopic front forks. It rides on alloy wheels which are covered with 90/90/12 and 90/90/10 tyres for front and rear, respectively. It is equipped with Hero’s integrated braking system which works with standard drum brakes.
The Hero Dash will be equipped with various features such as fuel lid, low fuel and side stand indicator warning on digital instrument console, mobile charging socket, under seat storage light, etc. The vehicle will be priced little more than the Maestro, around Rs. 56,000 (ex-showroom).
