Haval H4, H6 and H9 SUVs To Debut At 2020 Auto Expo
Haval, the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors owned car brand, is all set to enter India in 2021. The company will showcase its three popular SUVs – H4, H6 and H9 – at the Delhi Auto Expo that will begin from 7th February 2020 in Greater Noida.
The first one to arrive in the market will be the Haval H4 compact SUV that will take on the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. While the Haval H6 will put up against the MG Hector and Tata Harrier, the Haval H9 will rival Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
Talking about the Haval H4, the compact SUV recently received a mid-life update in the Chinese market. Measuring 4.4m in length, the SUV comes with a 1.5L turbo petrol and a 1.3L petrol engine with front-wheel drive (FWD) system. In India, it could be offered with the Fiat-sourced diesel engine.
The Haval H6 is the company’s one of the top-selling model in the Chinese market. Here, it might be made available with 2.0L petrol and diesel engine options. The SUV will be packed with lots of comfort goodies including an 8.0-inch touchscreen, a part-digital instrument panel, a panoramic sunroof, multiple airbags and more.
The Haval H9 has been designed on the body-on-frame chassis and measures 4.8m in length. Features such as locking rear differential, a low-range transfer case and a high ground clearance enhance its off-road capabilities. The SUV might come with both petrol and diesel engine options.
