Harley Davidson 300cc Cruiser Revealed In Clear Spy Pictures

The first pictures of the upcoming Harley Davidson 300cc roadster concept were leaked online last month. Now, its production-ready version has been spotted in daylight in China. It will be the smallest 300cc motorcycle from the American two-wheeler maker. For people not in the know, Harley Davidson will develop the new 300cc bike jointly with Chinese partner – Qianjiang. In China it will be named – QJMotor SRV300.

As of now, there is no word on its India launch. Even it comes here, the new Harley Davidson 300cc bike will be positioned against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Benelli Imperiale 400 and Jawa Standard. If reports are to be believed, the smallest Harley bike might hit our shores sometime next year.

The spy pictures have confirmed that the new QJMotor SRV300 will carry the conventional Harley design elements, especially from the Iron 883. The circular headlamp with small fly screen and beefy forks gives it a retro look. It has a peanut-shaped fuel tank along with a bobber-like lower positioned single-piece seat, extended rear fender and wide handlebars. The black treatment on the handlebar, mirrors, engine and alloy wheels further enhance its sporty appearance.

The new QJMotor SRV300 (Harley Davidson 300cc) might also feature all LED lighting system, a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation. It suspension setup is likely to include upside down forks and dual rear shock absorbers, swingarm unit. The bike could be equipped with front and rear disc brakes, which will be further assisted by the standard dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). It will be assembled with 16-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels.

Speculations are on rife that the upcoming Harley Davidson 300cc bike (QJMotor SRV300) might source its power from a new 296cc, water-cooled overhead-cam V-twin engine. The motor is likely to generate power around 30bhp and a maximum speed of 129kmph. The bike will carry a kerb weight of around 163kgs.
