Ford India’s combined domestic wholesales and exports in July grew to 17,742 vehicles from 13,116 vehicles in July 2015.

In July 216, Ford India’s cumulative sales (domestic + exports) stood at 17,742 vehicles. While the company’s domestic sales grew to 7,076 units from 4,362 units in the same month last year, the exports grew to 10,666 vehicles as against 8,754 units in July 2015.

“Ford in India is steadfast on its promise to deliver more value to customers. Our domestic wholesale growth is proof that the actions we are taking to enhance the entire customer experience matter to our customers,” said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, Marketing, Sales & Service at Ford India.

“Our product led-transformation strategy is paying dividends as we continue to meet the diverse needs of customers with the most vibrant, feature rich and value for money product portfolio ever, including the introduction of iconic Ford Mustang.”

Though the company hasn’t shared the model-wise sales breakup, it’s not tough to guess that the EcoSport must have been the top-selling model followed by the Ford Aspire. This month the company also launched the iconic Ford Mustang in India at Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, the first lot of the Mustang has already been sold.
