Ford India has recently unveiled the production-ready Ford Figo Aspire compact sedan. The unveiling of the car took place at the inauguration of Ford’s new production plant in Sanand, Gujarat. Ahead of its launch, likely in June, the interiors of the Figo Aspire sedan have been revealed. The compact sedan will be the first car to be rolled out from the company’s new plant.
The new Figo Aspire interior is likely to be offered with segment leading features and infotainment. Here are the images of the Aspire Titanium variant, which has dual-tone cabin with beige leather seats and black dashboard. The center console looks identical to the EcoSport and Fiesta sedan with cell-phone line switches. It has piano black finish, and is equipped with large switches for the SYNC infotainment system.
The 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel has controls for music system and Bluetooth. Also visible are the controls for HVAC, 12V power socket, USB and AUX cable slots. The vehicle seems spacious with extra legroom space for rear occupants. It has rear power windows, a foldable armrest and is equipped with six airbags (Driver & Co-driver & 4 side/curtain airbags).
Talking about exterior styling, the Figo Aspire gets the company’s Kinetic design philosophy with Aston Martin-esque grille, flanked by sweptback headlamps; bold chrome grille at rear and a pair of wraparound taillamps. The wheel arches of the sedan have been fitted to newly designed 14-inch alloy wheels.
The Ford Figo Aspire will be offered in three engine options- a 1.2-litre petrol, 1.5-litre Sigma petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel. Both five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission will be on offer.
