The Figo Aspire is a sub-4 metre sedan, which will rival against the likes of Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze, Tata Zest and Maruti Swift Dzire. It will be the first car to be developed at the company’s new facility and will be launched in the second half of this year. According to the company, this car has been “designed to meet the needs of Indian consumers”.

This car will be equipped with a class-leading safety features and advanced technologies. The Aspire features a device dock on the center console which can be mounted with a GPS system or mobile phone. The top-spec variant of the car gets Ford’s SYNC with Applink which is its popular in-car connectivity. Moreover, it will be the first car in its league to feature side and curtain airbags.

The Ford Figo Aspire will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options. The petrol engine will be a new 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol, while the oil burner is the 1.5-litre Duratorq unit.
