Ford EcoSport Variant Lineup Updated; Details Revealed

Ford might also add a new and more feature-loaded variant to the EcoSport lineup.

Ford EcoSport compact SUV model lineup will soon receive an update in the country. According to Autocar, the American carmaker will add a new EcoSport Thunder variant to the lineup and trim down equipment of the Titanium+ and Titanium trims.

With minor changes in the feature list, the Ford EcoSport Titanium+ will get affordable by around Rs 45,000-50,000. The report further claims that the carmaker might also introduce a new and more feature-loaded variant of the compact SUV. No changes will be made to the range-topping EcoSport S trim.

Talking about the Ford EcoSport Thunder, the new variant will come as replacement to the EcoSport Titanium Signature Edition. It will be available with both 1.5L petrol and diesel engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. Inside, there is a dual-tone leather interior scheme and a 9.0-inch touchscreen FlyAudio infotainment system. The updated Ford EcoSport Titanium+ variant will get a FlyAudio infotainment system with a 9.0 touchscreen instead Sync3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It will also miss out on the cruise control and leather seats. The model will receive new side decals and sunroof.

The new Titanium and Titanium+ trims will receive a beige interior scheme instead the all-black theme. Ford will also remove the centre armrest for the rear passenger and a sunglass holder from the Titanium trim. Both variants will continue to come with the 1.5L petrol and diesel engine options.
