American automaker, Ford will soon launch the EcoSport Signature and EcoSport S models in the Indian car market. The company has already started dispatching the new models to dealerships, suggesting that the launch could take place in May, 2018. The new model will act as a top-spec model and will be equipped with sunroof.
In terms of features, the 2018 Ford EcoSport Signature edition gets darkened headlamps and front skid plate, new upper grille with magnetic-painted bars and black roof. The new model rides on newly designed 17-inch machined-face painted wheels. Inside the cabin, the new EcoSport models get Ebony Black interior with copper accents and contrasting orange stitching on seats, a 4.2-inch colour MID instead of the 2.3-inch monochrome MID. On the other hand, the Ford EcoSport S variant will get sunroof, blue interior accents and all-new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Ford’s EcoBoost 1.0-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine is capable of producing 123bhp of maximum power at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 170Nm at 1,400-4,500rpm. Instead of 5-speed manual, the new EcoSport EcoBoost model will be coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This model will also receive 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine. Ford EcoSport Review
The current Ford EcoSport Titanium+ model is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels. With the introduction of new Signature and S models, the company will add 16-inch alloy wheels in the Titanium+ model.
