Ford India has cut down the prices of its entry level sedan, Ford Classic and now the vehicle has been priced at Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The entire classic range is now available in the price bracket of Rs. 4.99 lakh and Rs. 7.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
“At Ford India, we are committed to deliver on customer expectations by continuous improvements in the value proposition of our products,” said Vinay Piparsania, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India. “In line with our global brand promise of ‘Go Further’, Ford India has repositioned the Ford Classic by optimizing efficiencies.”
The Ford Classic is being offered in both petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol model has 1.6-litre engine, the oil burner feature the 1.4-litre TDCi Duratorq mill. It sports fist-in class programmable keyless entry, Bluetooth audio with speed sensing volume control, front fog lamps, rear defogger, turn indicators on ORVMs, drive away locks, ABS, EBD and driver & front passenger airbags among others.
