In order to improve sales, Ford India has added new Sports trim to its Figo twins christened Figo S and Aspire S. The new sportier variants are available in petrol and diesel options with the Aspire petrol priced at Rs 6.51 lakh and the diesel trims priced slightly higher at Rs 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is to be noted that the new Sport version is available in the Titanium spec with additional bits. With the new cosmetic updates and features, the Sport variant is available for an additional cost of Rs 34,000 over the standard trim.
Among the new additions, the Sports trim gets 15-inch black finished alloy-wheels, body graphics, tweaked suspension set up, black ORVMs, bolder sporty grille, new grille with smart black painted bars, all-black interior and stitched seats akin to its hatchback twin, Figo S. In terms of safety, the car gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and EPAS. The Aspire Sports variant is available in both petrol and diesel options. Power on the Aspire S is sourced from the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, oil burner good for 99bhp of power and 215Nm of torque. Ford Aspire Sports Exterior & Interior
The new Aspire Sports variant comes equipped with multiple cosmetic updates for a sportier look. It gets 15-inch black finished alloy-wheels, body graphics, tweaked suspension set up, dual tone exterior with contrasting roof, black ORVMs, bolder sporty grille and black inset on headlamps bezel.
The cabin has received minimal changes akin to its twin hatchback, Figo. The all-black interior gets stitched seats. On the safety front, the car gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and EPAS.
