These Five Global Cars Are Perfect Fit For Indian Market

Here is our list of top 5 global cars that we wish carmakers should launch in the Indian market

With India set to become world’s third largest car market, global automakers are eyeing to mark their entry in the Indian market. In fact, a lot of global cars have already been launched into our market such as Renault Captur, Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, etc. However, several popular cars are yet to go on sale in India due to their high pricing and other reasons. Here’s our list of 5 cars we wish could be launched in our country –

Toyota Rush

This is undoubtedly the most popular car specifically in the South Asian markets. It was speculated that this model will go on sale in India; that didn’t happen. Rumours are still on rife that Toyota is considering this 7-seater SUV for Indian market. Sharing design cues from Fortuner, the Rush could be a huge in India. If priced competitively, the Toyota Rush could be launched as a viable alternative to the likes of Hyundai Creta & Renault Duster.

Nissan Juke

Nissan Juke

The Juke is one of the wicked and stylish compact SUVs on sale in the global markets. It is one of the top-selling premium crossovers worldwide. However, this SUV is yet to hit Indian soil. Nissan had revealed the Juke at the 84th edition of Geneva Motor Show. Measuring just over 4 meter in length, Juke could create positive sentiments for the brand. If launched in India, it will be sold as a premium lifestyle product. The global mod is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 108bhp and 260Nm. It is also available with multiple petrol engines.

Honda HR-V

Japanese automaker, Honda is also considering the HRV premium 5-seater SUV for the Indian market. It is based on Jazz platform, which is already been manufactured in India. This could help the automaker aggressive pricing. The HR-V will be powered by a 1.6-litre diesel engine that will also power CRV and Civic. Rumours are on rife that Honda HRV will be launched in India in 2019. Though, Honda is yet to make an official announcement.

Toyota C-HR

We believe that Toyota should launch this 5-seater crossover in India. This is brand’s most exciting looking car, thanks to the quirky and unique styling. It is based on TNGA platform, which could be the reason behind not launching this product in India. Introducing an all-new product and platform requires huge investment that is why Toyota has joined hands with Maruti to introduce affordable cars in India.

Ford Focus

American automaker, Ford is known for making tough and fun-to-drive cars, and Focus premium hatchback is one of them. First launched in 1998, the Ford Focus has been one of the best-selling products globally. IN fact, Focus became the best-selling vehicle nameplate in the world 2012 and 2013. The company will soon launch the new generation Focus in the global markets. We wish this model could also make its way to our market. However, it will be launched as a premium product.
