First Spy Pictures Of 2020 Mahindra Bolero Emerge
We have reported earlier that Mahindra & Mahindra is working on new-generation version of its 4 popular SUVs including Scorpio, XUV500, Thar and Bolero. Recently, the first spy pictures of the 2020 Mahindra Bolero have emerged on the web. Save for the vertical grille slats and circular headlamps, the fully camouflaged prototype managed to cover all exterior and interior details.
The 2020 Mahindra Bolero will retain the original boxy stance, rectangular wing mirrors, an upright windshield, flat roof and tall side pillars. Reports suggest that the SUV’s new-generation model will feature revised bumpers, newly-design headlamp clusters, LED DRLs, updated ORVMs and turn indicators and new scuff plate. Ditching the existing platform, the 2020 Mahindra Bolero will be designed on the GEN3 architecture. It will also meet the BNSVAP (Bharat New Vehicle Safety Assessment Program) norms by offering safety features such as dual airbags (driver and co-driver), driver and co-driver seat belt reminders, speed alert system, ABS (anti-lock braking system), vehicle reverse parking sensors and manual override for the central locking system. Under the hood, the 2020 Mahindra Bolero will house a new 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine that will meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The new oil burner delivers power close to 140bhp. For performing transmission duties, the SUV will get a 6-speed manual gearbox. The suspension setup will also be updated for enhancing its comfort level and driving experience.
