First Spy Pictures of 2020 Honda CR-V Facelift Emerge
The 2020 Honda CR-V facelift is expected to see minor design updates.
Honda CR-V 7-seater SUV, that received a generation change last year, will soon get a mid-life update in the country. While the launch of the facelifted model will happen sometime next year, its first spy pictures hit the web. The 2020 Honda CR-V facelift is expected to see minor design updates including a new grille with a larger chrome bar, revised bumpers and quarter panel. Most of the styling elements will be carried forward from the current model. No changes will be made to its dimensions as well.
Interior details are still under wraps, as there is no spy picture of its cabin. Though, it will surely be more upmarket than before. The carmaker might pack the 2020 Honda CR-V facelift with onboard technology and a few new features. Read: 2020 Honda City – 5 Big Changes
Things under the hood will also remain unchanged. The 2020 Honda CR-V facelift will continue to come with the 2.0L i-VTEC petrol and 1.6L i-DTEC diesel powertrains generating 151.8bhp with 189Nm and 118.3bhp with 300Nm respectively. The petrol variants will come with 2WD (two-wheel-drive) system and the diesel models will get both 2WD and 4WD (four-wheel-drive) system. Transmission choices will include the same 9-speed automatic and a CVT unit.
India launch of the new Honda CR-V facelift is likely to happen by the end of 2020 or early 2021. The updated model might also see a minor price hike. Currently, the 7-seater SUV comes in the price range of Rs 28.27 lakh – Rs 32.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
