First Revolt RV400 Electric Bike Rolled Out From Manesar Plant
Revolt Intellicorp has rolled out the much-awaited Revolt RV 400, India’s first AI-enabled motorcycle from its Manesar plant. The company said that the new motorcycle has been developed after 2 years of intensive research to localize it for Indian conditions and customer preferences without compromising on performance or aesthetics.
Unveiled in June, the Revolt RV 400 will be offered in 2 paint schemes – Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. The AI-enabled motorcycle has an ARAI certified range of 156 kms and a top speed of 85 km/hr. The motorcycle has received positive response from customers (Delhi and Pune only), clocking over 2500 bookings in just 2 weeks through RevoltMotors.com and Amazon.in.
Revolt will also start taking pre-bookings for the motorcycle in 6 more cities including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmadabad and Kolkata. Interested buyers can pre-book the motorcycle at a token amount of Rs 1,000, which is fully refundable on cancellation. The Revolt RV400 will officially go on sale in the country on August 28, 2019. The manufacturing facility in Manesar boasts a production capacity of 120,000 vehicles commissioned for Phase 1.
The Revolt RV400 comes with several connectivity features including cloud connectivity, geo-fencing, OTA (over-the-air) updates and remote diagnostics. The motorcycle also offers 4 different ways of charging – mobile swap station, portable charging, on-board charging and deliver on demand option.
