The MG E ZS pure electric SUV is reported to make its way to the Indian market.

MG Motors had announced its plan to enter India with an SUV in the second quarter of 2019. Reports suggest that the Chinese automaker will commence its Indian operations with the MG-badged Baojun 530 SUV. The company will introduce the electric vehicles if there will be demand. According to a fresh report, the MG E ZS pure electric SUV might also make its way to India.

The MG E ZS is the company’s smallest SUV, which is currently under its testing phase in the country. SAIC Motor’s Zhengzhou plant in Henan province, China serves as production hub for the vehicle. MG E ZS Electric SUV

Design and styling of the MG E ZS electric SUV is exactly similar to the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) engine model. Though, it gets a small green ‘E’ badging at the rear end. The SUV runs on unique 16/17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 205/60R16 or 215/50R17 tyres respectively. With respect to proportions, the MG E ZS electric SUV measures 4,314mm in length and 1,809mm in width with a wheelbase of 2,585mm. At the engine front, the MG E ZS SUV features an electric motor manufactured by Huayu Automotive. This unit is 24.7bhp more powerful than the 1.0L, four-cylinder TGI petrol engine. While the former delivers 147.9bhp (150PS), the latter produces 123.2bhp (125PS).
