Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has added a new model to its Punto lineup in India. Called the Fiat Punto EVO Pure, this new model is made available only with the petrol engine at Rs 4.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Fiat is offering 3 year warranty with service intervals of 15000km on the new Punto EVO Pure.

Commenting on the launch of the new Punto Evo Pure, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “With the Punto EVO Pure, our entry-level offering in the Fiat portfolio becomes stronger. Customers have always appreciated Fiat’s design, styling and on-road dynamics and now with the Punto EVO Pure they can own a great looking hatchback at exceptional value.”
At the heart of the Fiat Punto Evo Pure is a 1.2-litre FIRE petrol engine paired to the conventional 5-speed manual gearbox. This motor is capable of pushing out a maximum power of 67bhp at 6000rpm and a peak torque of 96Nm at 2500rpm. As mentioned in the beginning, no changes have been made to the design of the car. It looks exactly similar to the regular Punto Pure. Face is styled aggressively with signature ‘Reindeer’ headlamps, a wide airdam, grille with black plastic cladding and chrome surround large fog lamps. The car also features black ORVMs and door handle. It comes fitted with steel wheels with full wheel caps.
The Fiat Punto EVO Pure comes in a choice of six colour schemes – Hip Hop Black, Bronzo Tan, Exotica Red, Magnesio Grey, Bossanova White and Minimal Grey. Cabin looks sporty with black interior theme and fabric seat covers. The list of features has been carried over from the standard version. However, it misses out on some fitments.
