Fiat Fastback Concept Unveiled; Might Become The Basis For Hyundai Creta Rival

The interior and engine details of the Fiat Fastback are still under the wraps.

Fiat Fastback concept has been unveiled for the Brazilian market at the 2018 Sao Paulo Motor Show. The concept previews the future production model of a new Fiat SUV that will be positioned against the Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks in select global markets. The Fiat Fastback concept’s silhouette with coupe-like sloping roofline resembles to the Mercedes-Benz GLC 43 Coupe.

Upfront, the SUV concept features twin-tiered headlamps with twin air-intakes positioned at either edge of the bumper. The muscular bonnet adds more to its sleek looks. Adoring the side profile are the bold shoulder creases running across its length, a high beltline and the B-pillar. Round the back, it features sporty bumper and wide wraparound LED taillamps. The interior and engine details of the Fiat Fastback are still under the wraps. Speculations suggest that the concept might share its underpinnings with the Jeep Renegade and Compass. While the Fiat Fastback SUV (production-ready) is likely to hit Brazilian shores by 2020, its India launch is still not confirm. Even if India is on the launch radar, the concept could be used as a base for a new SUV that will gun up straight against the Hyundai Creta.
