Priced at Rs 29.57 lakh, the Ford Endeavour 2.2L Titanium trim comes equipped with an electric panoramic sunroof

Ford India has launched an electric panoramic sunroof in the Ford Endeavour 2.2 engine variant. The new Endeavour 2.2 Titanium variant is priced at Rs 29.57 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. Apart from new panoramic sunroof, there are no new additions to this variant. This 2.2L engine is currently available in Trend and Titanium trims of the Endeavour.

Speaking on the launch of new variant, Vinay Raina, executive director, marketing, sales and service, Ford India, said, “Being the most awarded vehicle in its segment, Ford Endeavour truly surpasses what consumers expect from a premium SUV. It is powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder TDCi diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 158bhp along with a peak torque of 385Nm. This engine is paired to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox as standard and is available with rear-wheel-drive layout. As per ARAI, the Endeavour 2.2L is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 12.62kmpl. The range-topping model is propelled by a 3.2-litre Duratorq five-cylinder TDCi diesel engine that is good for 197bhp and 470Nm of torque and is mated to the same 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Ford has already started testing the 2018 Endeavour facelift in foreign soil. It is expected that the American automaker will also launch the updated model in India by the end of 2018. Talking about changes, the updated Endeavour will receive revised front fascia with re-profiled radiator grille with three horizontal chrome slats, prominent bumper, reshaped chrome mirror housing and new six-double-spoke alloy wheels. The cabin will receive slightly revised dashboard and central console.
