Deliveries Of Jawa Dual-Channel ABS To Begin Soon
Initially, the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two were introduced with a single-channel ABS.
In November 2018, Classic Legends introduced three all-new Jawa motorcycles in India – Jawa, Jawa Forty Two (42) and Jawa Perak. Initially, the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two were introduced with a single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system), followed by the dual-channel ABS variants in December 2018.
Replying to a tweet, Anupam Thareja, co-founder, Classic Legends, has confirmed that the deliveries of the dual-channel ABS models will be commenced by the end of this month (June, 2019).
The Jawa Jawa has been priced at Rs 1.64 lakh, while the Jawa Forty Two costs Rs 1.55 lakh. The dual-channel variants of both the motorcycles are priced around Rs 8,000 more premium than their single-channel ABS versions. Priced at Rs 1.89 lakh, the factory-custom bobber – Jawa Perak – will be made available for sale at a later date. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Jawa and Jawa Forty Two are powered by a BS6-ready 293cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine that;s good enough for 27bhp and 28Nm of peak torque. The bikes make use of telescopic forks up front and gas-charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. While the Jawa Jawa available in three colour schemes – Maroon, Grey and Black, the Jawa Forty Two comes in 6 shades – Galactic Green, Halley Teal, Starlight Blue, Nebula Blue, Lumos Lime and Comet Red.
