DC Design enters bike customization market with its new sub brand – DC2 – and Carbon Shot is its first bike based on RE Bullet 350

DC Design has recently entered into the bike customisation market and launched its new sub-brand DC2. This new brand will design and offer customisation kits for motorcycles in the Indian market. DC2 had also introduced its first custom bike, named the DC2 Carbon Shot. Days after introducing this customised bike, which is based on the popular Royal Enfield 350, the company has now released two new colour options for the bike – Admiral Blue and Cardinal Red. Read More – DC Design’s 10 Best Modified Cars

The DC2 Carbon Shot features retro-modern parts including teardrop shaped fuel tank and the small front fender. The saddle-shaped single seat comes equipped with tail-lamps, giving it a modern feel. Bookings for the DC2 Carbon Shot have already been commenced. The entire customization kit costs Rs 76,000 (excluding the price of the stock bike). The company only made changes to its looks, while rest of the major components remains the same. Features like suspension, chassis, engine, console and braking system are the same offered in the stock bike.

DC2 Carbon Shot Rear

Talking about design, the DC2 Carbon Shot features an all-LED headlamps and new front indicators that have been placed in billet casing, and the cabon fibre made front and rear fenders. This bike has been developed for single rider, and the seat has been developed from steel and leather. The seat also gets integrated LEDs that works as tail light and rear indicators.

The Carbon Shot also gets customised fuel tank cover, which has been designed using billet, chrome and carbon fibre. Despite being added with chrome & carbon fibre, the fuel tank offers a retro look to the bike. DC2 claims that the air filter and battery cover design inspiration comes from luxury watches. These are developed by a mixture of billet aluminium and carbon.

 

As a reminder, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, twinspark, aircooled engine. This engine is capable of producing 19.8bhp of power and 28Nm of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
