Datsun GO, GO+ CVT Launched – Price and Details

Japanese automaker, Nissan has launched the CVT version of the Datsun GO and GO+. While the former is available at an attractive price of Rs 5.94 lakh, the GO+ CVT is priced at Rs 6.58 lakh. Datsun GO and Go+ are the first models in their respective segments with CVT automatic gearbox options. Deliveries of the new cars have already been started at all Nissan and Datsun dealerships.

The CVT option is available on the top-spec variants of the GO twins. The new models come fitted with new instrument console, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice recognition, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Nissan claims that the new CVT in GO and GO+ offers smoother shifting of gears and better driving experience on city, highway and hill. The company has also worked on the NVH levels, and the Datsun GO CVT and GO+ CVT claimed to offer low engine noise in the cabin during high acceleration. The new models also get segment first Sports mode. This mode is claimed to improve the overall driving experience by offering more power during overtaking. For safety and security, the Datsun GO twins come fitted with segment-first Vehicle Dynamic Control, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, reverse parking sensors, automatic speed sensing door lock and follow-me-home headlamps. The new models come with 185mm ground clearance.

The Datsun GO CVT and GO+ CVT are available in 6 exterior colour options – Ruby Red, Vivid Blue, Amber Orange, Bronze Grey, Opal White and Crystal Silver. The company is giving 2 year standard warranty package. Customers can extend the package to 5 years with a nominal fee. The Datsun GO offers a boot space of 265-litres, while the GO+ offers 347-litres of boot with 3rd row folded.
