Datsun GO, GO+ CVT Bookings Open; Launch Next Month
Datsun India will soon introduce the CVT automatic variants of the GO hatchback and GO+ MPV. Both models have already been revealed and are ready to go on sale next month. Ahead of its official launch, the carmaker has begun taking pre-orders for the vehicles.
One can pre-book the Datsun GO and GO+ CVT by paying an initial sum of Rs 11,000 at any authorized Datsun/Nissan dealership across the nation.
The new Datsun GO and GO+ CVT will be made available in two trims – T and T (O). Both variants get dual front airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), central locking, seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors and pedestrian impact protection as standard safety fitments.
The top-end T (O) trim of the GO twins is packed with a touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets LED DRLs (daytime running lights), 14-inch alloy wheels and speed sensing auto door lock.
Datsun GO and GO+ CVT models have also witnessed a minor power bump. Both cars use the same 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine that’s tuned for producing power worth 75bhp against 104Nm of torque.
The manual version of the hatchback and MPV delivers 67bhp with 104Nm. For performing transmission duties, the Datsun GO and GO+ automatic get a CVT gearbox.
