Dacia has revealed the Duster Air and the Sandero Black Touch special editions, which are scheduled to be unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The Sandero Black Touch edition features pearlescent black accents, 15-inch alloy wheels and body coloured bumpers. Inside the cabin, the vehicle gets pearlescent black trim and optional tech like cruise control and a MEDIA NAV infotainment system.
Under the bonnet is the same 1.2-litre petrol, a 900cc 3-cylinder “TCe 90” turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel “dCI 90” engine that churns out a maximum power output of 75bhp, 90bhp and 90bhp respectively.
The Dacia Duster Air special edition features altimeter graphics which is inspired from aviation. It also gets exclusive editions in the form of front and rear skid plates, tinted rear windows and imperial yellow side view mirrors. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to 16-inch alloy wheels which are finished in a dark tone. Inside the cabin, the SUV features special upholstery with contrasting stitches and embroidered motifs. The black trim and altimeter graphics is also offered in the interiors.
Under the hood, the Dacia Duster gets the same TCe 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 125bhp and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel motor that develops 110bhp. The petrol version is only offered with front wheel drive version while the diesel version is offered in both front and 4-wheel drive system.
The Dacia Sandero Black Touch is priced at EUR 10,450 (INR 8.11 lakhs), while the Dacia Duster Air is tagged at EUR 16,200 (INR 12.58 lakhs).
