Current Maruti Ertiga Is Available With Huge Discounts, Thanks to the New Model!

Dealers are offering discounts of up to Rs 65K (diesel) and Rs 45K (petrol) on the existing Ertiga.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is all set to enter into its new-generation on 21st November, 2018. In order to clear the stock, Maruti Suzuki dealers are offering huge discounts on the current generation model of the MPV. One can save up to Rs 45,000 on the Ertiga petrol including cash discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000. Similar to the Dzire, the first-generation Ertiga will be exclusively made available for the cab operator market as the Maruti Ertiga Tour. The Tour version is likely to be offered with a 1.3L diesel and 1.4L petrol-CNG fuel options.

Unlike the current generation model, the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 is based on the HEARTECT platform thus making it lighter and safer than before. Under the hood, the MPV will get a new, more powerful 1.5L K-Series petrol motor carried over from the new Ciaz facelift. Its power and torque outputs stand at 104bhp and 138Nm respectively.

The Fiat-sourced 89bhp, 1.3L diesel engine will remain intact on the MPV lineup. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic unit. In terms of pricing, the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 will be around Rs 50,000 more expensive than the current generation. It’s estimated to come with a starting price tag of Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). The second-generation model will take on the newly-launched Mahindra Marazzo.
