Cafe Racer’s are the retro looking motorcycle, which makes their return into our market last year. Last year, Royal Enfield introduced the Continental GT. Hero MotoCorp has also launched the cafe racer version of the Splendor, while Mahindra showcased a few Cafe Racer concepts based on the Centuro last year. Now, Bajaj Auto is all ready to introduce Cafe Racer motorcycle in the country. Below are the images of the Bajaj Cafe Racer Boxer 150.
Based on the Boxer 150, which is on sale in Turkey, the Cafe Racer is on display at the 2015 Turkey Motor Show along side the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS and Pulsar 150 NS. It is powered by a 144.8cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that churns out 12bhp of power at 7500rpm and 12Nm of torque at 4500rpm. The bike has a wheelbase of 1285mm, and weighs 123khs. The bike has fuel tank of 11 litres of capacity, and it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. No kick-start variant of the bike is on offer.
The Bajaj Cafe Racer Boxer 150 is covered in dark blue shade, which looks appealing. Adding to its retro appeal is the circular headlight structure, black matte cladding on the tank and circular side indicators. Also visible is the under-belly with carbon-fibre coating. It misses out on disc brakes and has the exposed rear swingarm.
