Citroen had launched the locally developed C3 hatchback in the Indian market in September 2022. The new model is available in the price bracket of Rs 5.71 lakh to Rs 8.06 lakh (ex-showroom). The introductory prices of the new Citroen C3 has now been ended. This compact hatchback has now received a price hike of up to Rs 17,000.
The top-spec turbocharged Citroen C3 Feel variant is now expensive by Rs 9,000 and is now available at a price tag of Rs 8.15 lakh. Except for the top-spec model, all the other variants C3 hatchback have received a uniform price hike of Rs 17,000. The hatchback is now available in the price bracket of Rs 5.88 lakh to Rs 8.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Citroen C3 directly rivals the Tata Punch, Maruti Wagon R, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger. The Tata Punch is priced in the range of Rs 5.93 lakh to Rs 9.49 lakh, while the Maruti Wagon R and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios are priced at Rs 5.47 lakh – Rs 7.20 lakh and Rs 5.43 lakh – Rs 8.45 lakh respectively. While the Nissan Magnite is priced between Rs 5.97 lakh and Rs 10.79 lakh, the Renault Kiger is tagged at Rs 5.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.62 lakh for top-end variant.
The new Citroen C3 is available in two trims – Level and Feel – and the latter is offered with customisations and accessories packs. The hatchback is offered with two engine options – a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol. The NA engine produces 82PS and 115Nm and is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the turbo engine churns out 110PS and 190Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of up to 19.8kmpl.
The Citroen C3 is equipped with features like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument console, a height adjustable driver’s seat, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD & rear parking sensors.
