October 21, 2016 – New Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 facelift had made its first appearance at the Bangkok Motor Show in March, 2016. In India, the updated Trailblazer will arrive early next year with some cosmetic and feature updates. In fact, General Motors India has already imported a single unit of the SUV for homologation purposes. Once launched, the 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer will go up against the new Ford Endeavour and the new Toyota Fortuner.
Talking about the exterior, the 2017 Trailblazer facelift will have a more aggressive front fascia than the current model. The car will see a new front grille, revised headlamps with integrated DRLs, front bumper with large air vents, a chiseled bonnet and larger fog lamps. There are lots of chrome accents and a pair of new alloy wheels with lower profile tyres. The overall length of the vehicle has been increased by 9mm, while the width and height remain unchanged. Interior updates will include an all-new dashboard and MyLink infotainment system with Android Auto and CarPlay as standard. Safety features such as blind warning assist, lane change assist, collision warning, front parking sensors and reverse camera with cross traffic alert system will also be on offer.
Power source for the new Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 facelift will remain the same – 2.8-litre 4-cylinder Duramax diesel motor. This power unit, with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, offers 200bhp of power at 3,600rpm and 500Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. New Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 Facelift Price (Expected)
The facelifted Trailblazer will come within the same price range as the current model. Recently, GM reduced the SUV price up to Rs 3.04 lakh making it the most affordable car in its league. Now, the SUV is available at Rs 23.95 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
