CF Moto Enters India; Launches 3 New Bikes
CF Moto, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, has finally begun its Indian operations with four new models – CFMoto 300 NK, 650 NK (street-fighter), 650 MT (adventure tourer) and 650 GT (sports tourer). While CF Moto 300 NK is the most affordable offering priced at Rs 2.29 lakh, the CF Moto 650 NK, 650 MT and 650 GT are made available at Rs 3.99 lakh, Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 5.49 lakh respectively. All prices are introductory, ex-showroom.
In India, CF Moto has joined hands with AMW Motorcycles to setup its sales and service network. All three bikes will be imported to India as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) unit, and then assembled at AMW’s Hyderabad based plant. All three CF Moto motorcycles will be available at AMW dealerships in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai Mumbai and Pune.
Talking about the CF Moto 300 NK, the entry-level bike uses a 292cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a 6-speed gearbox. This liquid-cooled motor makes power worth 28PS and 25Nm of torque. The bike sits on a steel tubular frame and measures 2114mm in length. Its wheelbase and ground clearance stand at 795mm and 150mm respectively. It offers a seat height of 795mm and a fuel tank capacity of 12.5L. The 300 NK has disc brakes at either end along with the dual-channel ABS.
The CF Motor 650 NK, 650 MT and 650GT derive power from a 649cc, twin-cylinder engine producing 60bhp with 56Nm, 69bhp with 62Nm and 60bhp with 58.5Nm respectively. The 650 MT weighs around 7kg more than the 650 NK. Transmission on offer is a 6-speed unit. All three bikes have twin discs and a single disc brake at the front and rear axles respectively. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard.
