BS6 TVS Apache RTR 160 Priced At Rs 93,500
TVS Motor Company has rolled out the BS6-compliant Apache RTR 160 in the country. The rear drum variant has been priced at Rs 93,500, and the rear disc variant costs Rs 96,500. The powertrain of the BS6 TVS Apache RTR 160 is boosted with the fuel injection system that’s dubbed as ‘Race Tuned-FI/RT-Fi’ technology. The bikemaker claims that it gets segment-first “Glide Through Technology for low-speed urban riding and enable a smooth and controlled ride.”
Compared to the BS4 version, the BS6 TVS Apache RTR 160 is slightly more powerful and torquier. Packed with the 159.7cc, two-valve, single-cylinder engine, the bike delivers power worth 15.5bhp and 13.9Nm of torque. Its BS4 version returns a maximum power of 14.9bhp and 13.03Nm of torque. The BS6 TVS Apache RTR 160 also receives new body graphics, making it look sportier. Similar to the old model, the updated one comes in six colour options – Matte Blue, T Grey, Pearl White, Matte Red, Gloss Red and Gloss Black. No other changes have been made to the bike.
