BS6 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Diesel Spotted; Debut At 2020 Auto Expo

New Maruti Ertiga 6 Seater

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga had received a generation change in late 2018. The MPV was made available with a 89bhp, 1.3L DDiS 200 diesel SHVS and a 103bhp, 1.5L K15 petrol SHVS BS4-compliant engine options. In April 2019, the carmaker introduced a new 1.5L DDiS 225 diesel engine that’s good for 94bhp and 225Nm.

In July 2019, Maruti Suzuki rolled out the BS6-compliant version of the 1.5L VVT petrol engine with minor price hike. Within the next one month, Maruti Suzuki discontinued the Fiat-sourced 1.3L diesel engine as it doesn’t meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms.

Prices of the petrol hybrid variants start from Rs 7.54 lakh and go up to Rs 10.5 lakh. The diesel models cost between Rs 9.86 lakh – Rs 11.2 lakh and the CNG variant is priced at Rs 8.87 lakh.
