BS6 Mahindra Alturas Gets Expensive By Rs 1 Lakh; New Prices Here
Mahindra & Mahindra has finally brought the BS6-compliant version of its flagship 7-seater SUV – Alturas G4. The updated model comes in two variants – 2WD and 4WD – priced at Rs 28.69 lakh and Rs 31.69 lakh respectively. This makes them Rs 99,000 more expensive than their BS4 versions. One must note that the aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. The BS6 Mahindra Alturas uses the same 2.2L, 4-cylinder diesel engine hooked with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
The carmaker has upgraded the oil burner to make it comply to BS6 emission standards. No changes have been made its power and torque outputs. The fully-loaded BS6 Mahindra Alturas G4 4WD continues to offer HID headlamps, smart tailgate, mood lighting, around view monitor, a 7-inch colour TFT multi function display, memory profile for driver’s seat and wing mirrors, rain sensing wipers, a sunroof, quilted Nappa leather interior (Black and Tan) and 9 airbags.
The entry-level 2WD variant comes equipped with projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED taillamps, cruise control, tiltable & telescopic steering wheel, quilted Nappa leather interior (Black and Grey), 8-way adjustable powered driver’s seat, keyless entry with easy access mode, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, heated wing mirrors with turn indicators, anti-pinch front power windows, 3.5-inch monochrome TFT multi function display, infotainment system with standard reverse camera, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill descent control, hill start assist and emergency stop signal.
