BS6 Jeep Compass – 4 Trims, Updated Engines, Price List
Jeep India has rolled out the BS6-compliant Compass SUV in the price range of Rs 16.49 lakh – Rs 24.99 lakh. This makes it around Rs 89,000 more expensive than its BS4 version. Prices of the petrol model start from Rs 16.49 lakh for the entry-level Sport Plus model and go up to Rs 21.92 lakh for the Limited Plus variant. The diesel variants, on the other hand, are priced from Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 24.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

With the BS6 upgrade, the American carmaker has revised variant lineup of the Jeep Compass. The SUV comes in Sport Plus, Longitude, Longitude Plus and Limited Plus trims, while Longitude (O) and Limited variants have been discontinued along with the entry-level Sport trim.
Now, the BS6 Jeep Compass Sport Plus base variant offers power adjustable wing mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, dual-zone climate control, dual airbags, traction control, an electronic parking brake, electronic stability control and rear disc brakes. Features such as automatic headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED tail-lights, automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, dual-tone colour schemes and 4 airbags are reserved for the top-spec Limited Plus trim.
Under the hood, the BS6 Jeep Compass employs a 1.4L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 2L, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines meeting the new emission norms. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and an optional 7-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV continues to come with Jeep’s terrain response system and three driving modes – Snow, Sand and Rock.
