BS6 Hyundai Venue Petrol Price List Revealed
Hyundai Motor India entered into subcompact SUV space with the all-new Venue in May, 2019. The compact SUV has turned out to be a volume generator for the South Korean carmaker in the country. On coming 1st April, the Indian automobile industry will switch to BS6 (Bharat Stage VI) emission norms. Therefore, the South Korean carmaker will soon upgrade its entire model lineup to comply the new stringent emission standards. While the 1.2L petrol engine powered variants get expensive by Rs 15,000, the 1.0L turbo petrol models have witnessed a price hike of Rs 20,000. Prices of the BS6-compliant 1.0L petrol models start from Rs 8.46 lakh (for the base S manual variant) and go up to Rs 11.50 lakh (for the SX+ DCT dual-tone variant). All prices are ex-showroom.
The existing 1.4L turbocharged diesel engine has been discontinued from the SUV lineup. It has been replaced with the detuned version of the 1.5L diesel motor sourced from the Kia Seltos. In Seltos, the oil burner delivers a top power of 115PS and a peak torque of 250Nm.
