BS6 Hyundai Santro Prices Leaked Ahead of Launch
A few weeks back, we have reported that BS6-compliant version of the Hyundai Santro hatchback will soon go on sale. Ahead of its official launch, prices of the updated model have leaked on the web. The BS6 Hyundai Santro will witness price hike by up to Rs 27,000 (depending on the variant).
The updated entry-level Era Executive will be priced at Rs 4.57 lakh. While the Magna MT and Magna AMT variants will cost Rs 5.04 lakh and Rs 5.53 lakh respectively, the Sportz MT and Sports AMT will be offered at Rs 5.40 lakh and Rs 5.98 lakh respectively. The Asta manual variant will be priced at Rs 5.78 lakh and its AMT version will cost Rs 6.25 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai.

The BS6 Hyundai Santro will use the BS6-compliant version of the existing 1.1L petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. Interestingly, the power and torque figures of the updated model will remain unchanged. In its BS6 form, the gasoline motor will deliver power worth 69bhp and 99Nm of torque. No other changes will be made to the BS6 Hyundai Santro. Features such as rear parking sensors, reverse camera, dual front airbags and rear wiper/washer, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with latest smartphone connectivity, front and rear speakers will be reserved for the top-end trims.
