Honda 2Wheelers recently rolled out its first BS6-ready vehicle – Honda Activa 125. Now, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer gets ICAT certification for the Honda CB Shine 125 motorcycle. The leaked document confirms that the commuter will witness minor power bump along with some dimensional changes.
The BS6 Honda CB Shine 125 will use the same 124.73cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that will be upgraded to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. It will produce a maximum power of 10.88bhp instead of the existing 10.31bhp.
The commuter will also be benefited with EFI (electronic fuel injection) technology that will ensure smooth throttle response. For performing transmission duties, there will be a 5-speed gearbox. As mentioned above, the BS6 Honda CB Shine 125 will be slightly bigger than the existing BS4-compliant model. Read: Honda Activa 6G – 6 Things To Know

The BS6 Honda CB Shine 125 could be priced slightly premium than its BS4 version. Currently, the bike comes in four variants – Drum, Drum CBS, Disc and Disc CBS – priced at Rs 63857, Rs 65579, Rs 66343 and Rs 69497 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
