BS6 Honda Activa 125 Service Campaign Announced
Honda 2Wheelers has announced a service campaign for BS6-compliant Activa 125 under which it will replace cooling fan cover and oil gauge of the scooter. The company will inspect all vehicles that require replacement of aforementioned components. The entire procedure of inspection and replacement will take around 30 minutes and will be done at free of cost.
The vehicle owners will be contacted by Honda dealers for inspection and replacement of the faulty components. Customers can also visit the company’s official website and fill in the VIN No. (Frame Number) to check if their vehicle needs any attention.
Launched in September 2019, the BS6 Honda Activa 125 has been offered in three variants. While the Standard variant is available at Rs 67,490, the top-end Deluxe trim costs Rs 74,490. The scooter’s updated model sources its power from a BS6-compliant 124cc, four-stroke, fuel-injected engine. The bikemaker has revised its internal components for achieving better refinement and low friction. Honda claims that the new Activa 125 is around 10-13% more fuel economical than its BS4 version. It comes with an idle stop system that automatically turns off the engine at brief stops and turns it on when you press the clutch.
