BS6 Datsun Go, Go Plus Coming Soon; Details Revealed
BS6 Datsun GO hatchback and GO Plus MPV have been listed on the company’s official website ahead of their launch. The carmaker has revealed variant, feature and engine details of both models. Official price announcement is likely to be made post lockdown. The updated GO and GO Plus lineup will come in five variants – D, A, A (O), T and T (O) – powered by a BS6-complaint 1.2L petrol engine. Read – 2020 Datsun Redi-GO All Details Revealed
The 3-cylinder motor can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. With manual transmission, the petrol engine pushes out a peak power of 67bhp with 104Nm of torque. The petrol-CVT combo returns a claimed power of 76bhp with 104Nm of torque. Mileage figures of the BS6 Datsun GO and GO Plus are yet to be revealed.
The BS4 GO hatchback delivers a mileage of 19.02kmpl with manual gearbox and 19.59kmpl with CVT unit. The GO Plus, on the other hand, returns fuel economy of 19.02kmpl (MT) – 18.57kmpl (AT). The Datsun GO and GO Plus share several design bits and features including a hexagonal grille, Hawk-eye headlamps with LED DRLs, body-coloured bumpers, ORVMs and door handles, 14-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, all-black instrument panel, black fabric upholstery and more. With respect to safety, the hatchback and MPV offer dual airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, seat belt reminder, rear parking assist sensors and vehicle dynamic control.
In coming months, the carmaker will also bring in the 2020 Datsun Redi-GO with some noticeable changes.
