Both New Honda City 2020 and 4th Gen Model To Be Sold Alongside

2020 Honda City Launch Price

The fifth-generation Honda City is ready to hit showrooms post lockdown. While the 2020 City will be the successor to the current-generation model, the latter one isn’t going anywhere. According to a fresh media report, the Japanese carmaker will sell the 2020 Honda City alongside the existing model.

Interestingly, the current-generation City might serve the fleet market and the new one might get a ‘suffix’ in the name (like Innova ‘Crysta’). The report further claims that the sedan’s fourth-generation will witness significant price cut.

2020 Honda City Launch Date

The 2020 Honda City will come in three trim levels – V, VX and ZX – with petrol and diesel engine options. Powering the petrol model will be the BS6-compliant 1.5L i-VTEC motor with different stroke and bore offering better low-end performance. The gasoline mill will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The diesel variants will come with a 1.5L i-DTEC unit with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT automatic transmission. Read: Honda ZR-V Name Registered; Hinting New Compact SUV
