Nissan Kicks, the premium 5-seater SUV from the Japanese carmaker, is ready to go on sale in India on 22nd January, 2019. Official bookings for the vehicle have already begun across the nation. In fact, the carmaker started dispatching the SUV to its authorized dealerships from its Chennai based plant.

Nissan has revealed that 500 lucky owners of the Nissan Kicks SUV will get a chance to watch India in action against Pakistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup in UK in June, 2019. Only 15 winners will get a fully paid trip to UK. In order to win the tickets, participants have to book the SUV in January. Built on the B0 platform, the India-spec Nissan Kicks measures 4,384mm in length, 1,813mm in width and 1,649-1,656mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,673mm. The carmaker has equipped the SUV with several segment-first features including a 360 degree view camera, cruise control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and Nissan Connect, rain sensing wipers, cornering lamp and leather covered dashboard and leather seat upholstery. Check Out – Nissan Terra 7-Seater SUV Pictures & Details

The SUV will also be high on safety. It gets ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution) as standard fitments along with four airbags, traction control and hill start assist.

The Nissan Kicks will be made available with both petrol and diesel engine options. While the petrol model will use a 1.5L H4K motor generating 106PS at 5600rpm and 142Nm at 4000rom, the diesel variant will get a 1.5L K9K dCi unit making 110PS at 3850rpm and 240Nm at 1750rpm. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual (petrol only) and a 6-speed manual (diesel only).
