BMW Launches New X3 Diesel xLine In India – Prices, Details

BMW India has launched two new diesel variants of the 2023 BMW X3 – X3 xDrive20d xLine and X3 xDrive20d M Sport. The new diesel versions are locally produced and available across BMW dealerships. While the xDrive20d xLine is priced at Rs 67.50 lakh, the xDrive20d M Sport variant is tagged at Rs 69.90 Lakh. 

The new BMW X3 diesel is available in 4 metallic paintworks – Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, Brooklyn Grey and Black Sapphire. It features Sesatec Perforated Upholstery as standard in two combinations – Canberra Beige | Black and Cognac.

The new BMW X3 xLine comes with the iconic kidney grille, an adaptive LED headlight set-up, and sculpted tail-lights that extend up to the boot. The M Sport variant features sportier front and rear bumpers, and a gloss black finish on the roof rails, and an M branding across the interior and interior. The xLine variant has aluminium-finished roof rails. Instead of 20-inch wheels, the new X3 xLine gets 19-inch bicolour style alloys. The M Sport features Y-spoke style alloy. 

In terms of features, the BMW X3 gets a Harman-Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof and a 12.3-inch infotainment unit that sports BMW iDrive system. The M Sport variant gets additional features like a heads-up display, a 3D view surround camera and gesture controls. The M Sport comes with an Aluminum and Pearl chrome interior trim. 

The new BMW X3 is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 190bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm at 1,750 – 2,500 rpm. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 7.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 213kmph. This powertrain is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that powers all four wheels. The xLine variant misses out on the Dynamic Damper control that is offered exclusively on the M Sport for the X3.
