German luxury car manufacturer BMW has introduced the 7 Series High Security in the Indian market. Audi and Mercedes have already launched their high-security production namely the A8 Security and the M-Guard. The BMW 750Li High Security gets certificate to the international standard guideline BRV 2009 and the car offers optimum security in the individual mobility segment and meets the needs of ballistic protection. Philipp von Sahr, president, BMW Group India said, “The BMW 760Li High Security provides optimum safety in the individual mobility segment in combination with unparalleled comfort of travel, superior drive technology and an abundance of innovative equipment features to guarantee confident motoring at all times.”
According to the company, the BMW 7-Series Security concept was manufactured along with the standard model. BMW has made specific mechanical changes to the chassis and suspension to accommodate the increased weight of the sedan’s armour plating.
Moreover, BMW is also providing consultancy and personalized sales and service support across the nation to ensure confidentiality of the buyers. The 760Li High Security will be serviced at certified garages only and access to the car will be restricted to few trained personnel. Additionally, BMW is also providing driver training programmes for these security vehicles.
