The German luxury carmaker has rolled out the new 2018 BMW 320d Gran Turismo Sport in India. Available in a single 320d diesel trim, the premium sports tourer has been priced at Rs 46.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the exterior, the 2018 BMW 320d Gran Turismo Sport features newly designed LED headlamps, LED rear lights, a bold kidney grille slats in high-gloss black and high-gloss black at front and rear. The 2018 BMW 320d Gran Turismo Sport comes in a choice of three colour options – Alpine White (non-metallic), Black Sapphire (metallic) and Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect (metallic). The company is also offering three upholstery options including Sensatec Black/Red highlight, Black and Sensatec Veneto Beige and Veneto Beige.

Inside, the new Sport variant gets fine-wood trim Ash Grain and highlight trim finisher in Pearl Chrome and red contrast stitching on the sport steering wheel and gear shift paddles enhancing its sporty appeal. BMW equips the new 320d Gran Turismo Sport with several high-end safety technologies including six airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Side-impact Protection, Runflat tyres with reinforced sidewalls, emergency spare wheel, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensor.

Power for the 2018 BMW 320d Gran Turismo Sport comes from a 2.0-itre, four-cylinder diesel engine that’s good for 187bhp and 400Nm of torque. Transmission on offer is a ZF 8-speed Steptronic torque converter automatic unit with paddle shifters. The Sport variant accelerates 0-100kmph in 7.7 seconds. It also gets a Launch Control function as standard.
