Benelli Imperiale 400 Bookings Open at Rs 4,000

Benelli Imperiale 400 Specifications

The long-awaited Benelli Imperiale 400 retro-styled motorcycle is all set to go on sale in India in October 2019. The company has started accepting bookings for the motorcycle at a token amount of Rs 4,000. Interested buyers can pre-book the Imperiale 400 online via the dedicated Benelli Imperiale India website or at Benelli showrooms across India. Deliveries for the motorcycle will commence by the end of October 2019.

The Benelli Imperiale 400 retro-styled motorcycle is inspired by the Benelli-MotoBi range, which was introduced in 1950. The bike is available in 3 colour options – Red, Black and Chrome. Benelli is also giving best-in-class 3 years Unlimited Kilometer warranty as standard.

Benelli Imperiale 400 Front Design

The retro-cruiser will rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Jawa 300. Some of the design highlights include round headlight, classic fenders and a teardrop fuel tank. Chrome treatment on the wheels, engine, mudguards and the rear view mirrors add premium touch. It also gets a twin-pod instrument console and the canvas saddle bags.

The Benelli Imperiale 400 is propelled by a 373.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine with Fuel Injected system. Paired to a 5-speed gearbox, the powertrain is good for 19.7PS of power at 5,500rpm and 28Nm of torque at 3,500rpm. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 200kgs, and has a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres.

For suspension mechanism, the motorcycle gets 41mm telescopic front forks with 110mm travel and twin-spring shock absorbers with 65mm travel at the rear. Stopping power comes from 300mm front disc with two piston callipers and 240mm rear disc with single-piston calliper. Dual-channel ABS system comes as standard. The Imperiale 400 rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels shod with 110/90 and 130/80 section tyres respectively.
