Bajaj, TVS and Royal Enfield Motorcycles Get Expensive

TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Auto and Royal Enfield has announced to increase the prices their motorcycles in the country. While TVS has increased the prices of its flagship brand, Apache, Bajaj Auto and Royal Enfield have hiked the prices of their entire motorcycle range. These new prices are applicable on bikes and scooters manufactured and sold from January 2021.

The company has increased the prices of its flagship motorcycle, the Apache RR 310 by Rs 3,000. The motorcycle is now available at a price tag of Rs 2.48 lakh. On the other hand, the Apache RTR 200 4V price has been increased by Rs 2,000 to 1.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Apache RTR 160 4V gets expensive by Rs 1,770, while the RTR 180 and the RTR 160 gets expensive by Rs 1770 and Rs 1520 respectively.

Bajaj has increased by the prices of the Avenger Cruiser 220 by Rs 3,521, and it now costs Rs 1.24 lakh. On the other hand, the Dominar 400 and the Dominar 250 prices have been raised by Rs 3,480 and Rs 3,500 respectively. The Pulsar range gets expensive as well. The Pulsar 220F price has been increased by Rs 3,500 to Rs 1.25 lakh, while the NS160 and the NS200 prices have been hiked by Rs 3,000 and Rs 3,500 respectively.

The most popular RE Classic 350 prices has been increased by around Rs 2,000. The range is now available in the price bracket of Rs 1.63 lakh and Rs 1.85 lakh. The Bullet series prices have also been revised; through the increase is marginal. It is now available in the price bracket of Rs 1.27 lakh to Rs 1.43 lakh.

The newly launched Royal Enfield Meteor 350 gets expensive by up to Rs 3,000. The bike was introduced in 3 variants – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova – priced at Rs 1.76 lakh, Rs 1.81 lakh and Rs 1.90 lakh respectively. The Fireball is now available at Rs 1.78 lakh, while the Stellar and Supernova prices are increased by Rs 3,000 to Rs 1.84 lakh and Rs 1.93 lakh respectively.
